The lighting of festivals, putto lighting a fire of bengal and woman lighting a lantern, coat of arms of the City of Paris

The April 23, 1888 Merson is named "group leader" for the decoration of the staircase of the festivals of the City Hall of Paris. The entirety of the sketches is exposed to circle Volney in 1898. The decor left unfinished the death of the painter in 1920.

This 19th century work of art was made by the painter Luc-Olivier Merson. The 130 years old original version of the piece of art was made with the size: Height: 46 cm, Width: 36 cm.
