Portrait de femme en représentée envelopes: elle porte a costume d'époque Louis XIII, with a corsage of search orné Rubans Red des boucles d'oreilles et collier en perles et une coiffure "hurluberlu". This beautiful anonyme was identifiée alternativement comme étant Marie-Anne Mancini (1649-1714), duchesse de Bouillon and nièce Cardinal Mazarin, or Sulpicia Chigi prince Farnese.

Jacob Ferdinand Voet (1639-circa 1700) is one of many Flemish portraitists who had a distinguished career in Italy. Staying in Rome between 1663 and 1679, he produced portraits half-length cardinals, "belle donne" and Roman lords and ladies. He participated in the execution of three galleries of "Roman beauties," one commissioned in 1672 by Cardinal Flavio Chigi for his family palace in Rome. This order and the similarity between our portrait and that of Sulpicia Chigi in the Museum of Fine Arts in Chartres are causing the identification of this young person.
