The Sports club of the island of Puteaux was founded in 1873 by Viscount Leon Janzé. It included one of the first all "clubs" tennis France, frequented by high society; several events of the 1900 Olympic Games it déroulèrent.Tableau exhibited at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts 1907, No. 500.
