During the Battle of Cadiz joined the Dutch and British forces in their fight against the Spaniards. Here, the four-masted Dutch Neptunes Admiral Johan van Duivenvoorde is supported by the British Ark Royal in an attack on the Spanish San Felipe. In reality, the English ship took no part in the battle. Aert Anthonisz gave the boat again because it was such an important symbol for the English navy.
