This 19th century painting was created by the painter Anton Mauve in the year 1860. Nowadays, this work of art can be viewed in in the Rijksmuseum's collection. Anton Mauve was a painter, watercolourist, whose artistic style can primarily be attributed to Impressionism. The artist lived for a total of 50 years, born in the year 1838 and passed away in the year 1888.
