This 18th century masterpiece titled "View Arriano and monument, called altar of Janus" was painted by Louis Ducros in 1778. Nowadays, the work of art can be viewed in in the Rijksmuseum's art collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
