The cloud is a chariot in which a man's wife affords a laurel wreath and a palm branch. The performance is interpreted as Charity and as Venus Amor which gives the chest.

In 1610 the artist Unknown made the piece of art "Caritas". The piece of art is in the the Rijksmuseum's digital art collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
