In 1675 the painter Richard Sylvius painted the artpiece "Peter Makeléer". The over 340 year-old original measures the size: Height: 107 cm (42,1 ″); Width: 89,5 cm (35,2 ″) Framed: Height: 120 cm (47,2 ″); Width: 102 cm (40,1 ″); Depth: 8,5 cm (3,3 ″) and was painted with the technique of oil on canvas. This piece of art is part of the art collection of Nationalmuseum Stockholm, which is Sweden's museum of art and design, a Swedish government authority with a mandatet o preserve cultural heritage and promote art, interest in art and knowledge of art.
