The work of art was created by Jacob van Ruisdael. The 350 year old version of the artpiece has the size of height: 69 cm width: 53,3 cm | height: 27,2 in width: 21 in. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the work of art. The original artwork's inscription is the following: signed: JvRuisdael. The piece of art is in the the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century.
