The Nativity of Christ is surrounded by the main events that precede and follow chronologically from left to right and top to bottom: 1 - Horseback Magi heading to the grotto of the Nativity, guided by the star. 2 - An angel shows the hand the star the Magi. 3 - An angel announces the birth of Jesus to a shepherd. 4 - The Nativity of Christ, with the center the Virgin lying on a red coat, his head resting on hand.
