The creditline of the artwork is the following: Presumably passed to the Smissaert family via Maria Feitama, who married Marinus A.P. Smissaert in 1799; Frans A.E.L. Smissaert, Laren, 1937; purchased, 1937. Besides this, the alignment is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
