Mrs. George Washington Stanley (neé Clarissa Nichols, 1793–1873) was created by Unknown in 1840. The over 180 years old original creation was made with the size: 34 x 27 in (86,36 x 68,58 cm). Oil on canvas, mounted to wood or panel was applied by the painter as the medium of the artwork. Nowadays, the work of art is included in the Yale University Art Gallery's collection, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. We are happy to state that the masterpiece, which belongs to the public domain is being supplied with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. The creditline of the artpiece is the following: Gift of Jane and Howard Frank. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
