Attracted to its dramatic vistas, volcanoes, exotic peasants, and classical ruins, landscape painters of the 1700s and 1800s flocked to the countryside around Naples. This view looks west toward the Gulf of Pozzuoli from just above the Solfatara, an area of volcanic steam vents. The ancient town of Pozzuoli, where the apostle Paul landed on his way to Rome, lies in the distance. Hackert's attention to detail and rendering of form with extreme lucidity is characteristic of German Romantic painting.

Pick your material variant
For every art print we offer a range of different materials & sizes. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a print on plexiglass, transforms the artwork into stunning décor. The artwork will be custom-made thanks to state-of-the-art UV print machines. This creates deep and rich color shades. The major advantage of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts as well as small color details become more identifiable because of the precise gradation. Our real glass coating protects your custom art replica against light and heat for decades.
- Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an outstanding depth effect, which makes a fashionable look with a surface structure, that is not reflective. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best introduction to art prints manufactured on aluminum.
- The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed flat cotton canvas paper with a slight finish on the surface. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm around the work of art in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Canvas print: The printed canvas applied on a wooden stretcher frame. A canvas makes a particular impression of three-dimensionality. Your canvas print of this artpiece will provide you with the chance to transform your art print into a large artwork like you know from art galleries. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight. This means, it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
