This 19th century work of art Rural Scene was painted by the painter Léon Bonvin in the year 1865. The beyond 150 year-old original version was made with the following dimensions: 10 1/4 x 7 7/8 in (26,1 x 20 cm). Watercolor and gum heightening, gouache highlights, iron gall ink and pen, over graphite underdrawing on slightly textured, moderately thick, cream wove paper was applied by the artist as the medium of the work of art. Nowadays, this piece of art is in the the Walters Art Museum's art collection.
