The watchtower Hotel Schomberg at the corner of Bailleul and Jean Tison streets; posters, cupboards.

Built in the fifteenth century, this hotel in 1596 became the property of Marshal Schomberg. It was destroyed in 1852 when was pierced extension of the Rue de Rivoli.

This 19th century piece of art named The watchtower of Schomberg hotel in the corner of Bailleul and Jean Tison, in 1832 was painted by the artist Lambert Nollé in 1832. The original measures the size Height: 35,6 cm, Width: 27,5 cm. Oil painting was applied by the painter as the medium of the artpiece. The original artwork was inscribed with the following text: "Date and signature - On the front of the canvas, bottom right: "L. Nollé / 1832 [or 1837?]"".
