This modern art painting called Henry Clemens Freiherr Purtscher of Eschenburg was made by the Austrian artist Karl von Blaas in the year 1868. The more than 150 years old original had the following size: 71,5 x 56 cm - frame dimensions: 87 x 71 x 7 cm and was crafted on the medium oil on canvas. The masterpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated lower left: C. Blaas 868. The work of art is included in the collection of Belvedere. The public domain artwork is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5216. Also, the artpiece has the creditline: purchase from Lili Kolisko, Gloucester in 1957. On top of that, alignment is portrait and has an image ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Karl von Blaas was a male mosaicist, painter, autobiographer from Austria, whose artistic style was mainly Historicism. The Austrian painter lived for a total of 79 years - born in 1815 in Nauders, Tyrol, Austria and deceased in the year 1894 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
