This classic art painting was made by the male Dutch painter Joos van Cleve. The over 490 years old original creation was painted with the size of height: 39 cm width: 58 cm | height: 15,4 in width: 22,8 in. Oil on panel was applied by the Dutch painter as the medium of the work of art. The painting has the following inscription: inscription: ANTIGONA FI S / OEDIPPVS FILIVS REG.TEinscription: AENEAS TROIAN FILI ANCH / DID.C [...] CARTAG. Besides, this piece of art belongs to the digital art collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The Netherlandish painter Joos van Cleve was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style was primarily Northern Renaissance. The European artist lived for 56 years and was born in 1485 in Cleves, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and deceased in 1541 in Antwerp, Antwerpen province, Flanders, Belgium.
