This 19th century artpiece was made by the classicist painter Johann Baptist Lampi d. Ä.. The original version of the artpiece has the size: 71,5 x 57,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. The artwork's inscription is the following - "name, signed and dated lower left: my friend Dr. / By Bach. by Joh. Bapt. Ritter / Lampi / 1824". Today, this piece of art is in the the Belvedere's digital collection, which is located in Vienna, Austria. With courtesy of: © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 3554 (public domain). The creditline of the artpiece is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. - 1939 inventory in 1921. The alignment is in portrait format with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Johann Baptist Lampi d. Ä. was a painter, whose art style can be classified as Classicism. The artist was born in 1751 in Romeno, South Tyrol and passed away at the age of 79 in the year 1830 in Vienna.
