"Still life in a stable" was painted by Hendrik Potuyl in 1639. Nowadays, the artpiece is part of the Rijksmuseum's digital art collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Still in a stable built up from a variety of household objects: a copper kettle, a jar with straw, baskets, earthenware pots and trays, a cabbage, a loaf of bread with a knife and a jar on a sheet on a chopping block, and a pasglas with a napkin on a barrel.
