Pick a material option
In the dropdown lists right next to the product you can pick a material and a sizeaccording to your preferences. Therefore, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- Poster print on canvas material: Our poster is a printed canvas paper with a slightly rough texture on the surface, which reminds the original masterpiece. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm round about the print motif in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- Canvas print: The printed canvas applied on a wooden frame. A canvas of your favorite work of art will allow you to transform your art print into a large size artpiece like you would see in a gallery. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. That is why, a canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Glossy acrylic glass print: The print on acrylic glass, often described as a print on plexiglass, will change the artwork into brilliant décor. Your favorite work of art will be custom-made with the help of state-of-the-art UV print technology.
- Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth effect. The bright components of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glow. The colors of the print are luminous, the details are very clear, and you can notice the matte appearance of the fine art print.
Legal disclaimer: We try our utmost in order to describe the art products as precisely as possible and to illustrate them visually. At the same time, the colors of the print materials and the imprint might diverge slightly from the representation on the monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the nature of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed as realisitcally as the digital version on this website. Bearing in mind that our fine art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be minor deviations in the motif's size and exact position.

Inspired by Dutch Caravaggesque painters such as Gerrit van Honthorst and Hendrick ter Brugghen, Hals painted pictures of carefree musicians during the mid- to late 1620s. Here a young man pours a last drop of red wine onto his thumbnail, a signal to the innkeeper that he needs a refill, and to the viewer that (according to a Dutch rhyme of the period) "The glass is empty. Time is up." While Hals's authorship cannot be doubted, the picture's appearance has been affected by changes made by the artist himself and by later restorers. For example, the collar on the shirt and the lute string crossing over the thumb (thus obscuring the gesture's meaning) are not original.
