This 15th century artwork called Hercules and Deianira was made by the Italian painter Antonio del Pollaiuolo in 1475. The work of art had the size unframed: 54,6 x 79,2 cm (21 1/2 x 31 3/16 in) framed: 67,4 x 94,8 cm (26 9/16 x 37 5/16 in). Oil on panel transferred to canvas was used by the European painter as the medium of the artpiece. Today, the work of art is in the the Yale University Art Gallery's digital art collection, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere.
