Your printed canvas of your favorite masterpiece will allow you to transform your custom fine art print into a large size artwork as you would see in a true gallery. Original artwork information by Barnes Foundation website (© - Barnes Foundation - www.barnesfoundation.org)
Charles Demuth began painting cubist-inspired landscapes around 1916. In this one, he merges rounded organic forms into cubism's typically hard angles, as tree branches curve around the intersecting planes of abstracted architecture. Demuth was deeply indebted to Cézanne, whose work he knew from Barnes's collection and from his many trips to Paris. Barnes understood this connection and installed Demuth's cubist landscapes with several Cézanne watercolors.
