Adolf Hirémy-Hirschl, 1895 - The court actor Ernst Hartmann - fine art print

The court actor Ernst Hartmann was created by the artist Adolf Hirémy-Hirschl. The over 120 year-old original was painted with the size of 60 x 40 cm - frame dimensions: 67 x 47 x 3 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the artpiece. Nowadays, the artwork is in the the Belvedere's digital collection. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait with a ratio of 2 : 3, which means that the length is 33% shorter than the width. Adolf Hirémy-Hirschl was a painter, whose style can primarily be classified as Symbolism. The painter lived for a total of 73 years and was born in the year 1860 in Temesvár / Timisoara, Romania and died in 1933 in Rome.

The painting was commissioned by the Society for Reproducing Art as an illustration template for the magnificent work "The Theater of Vienna's" (Volume 2, Part 3).
