Description of this more than 190 years old artwork

In the year 1828 Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller created this artpiece. The version of the masterpiece measures the size: 95 x 75 cm - frame dimensions: 117 x 98 x 11 cm - 16 kg and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. The original artwork was inscribed with the text: designation bottom left: Waldmüller 1828 Aet. 35. It is in the the Belvedere's digital art collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The modern art work of art, which is in the public domain is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 2121. The creditline of the artpiece is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1921. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format with an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller was an artist from Austria, whose art style can primarily be attributed to Realism. The artist lived for a total of 72 years and was born in the year 1793 in Vienna and passed away in the year 1865.

The image is one of the most important works of Austrian painting. It has Waldmüller not just as impressive portraitist, but also as an outstanding landscape painter. The special feature of the painting is the successful combination of man and nature. The sitter is not set in front of the landscape, but it is in the middle of the hilly and wooded terrain that surrounds it. This is credible mainly due to the lighting situation, because this sunlight spreads over nature, plays around also portrayed himself. 35 years included the painter when he painted in fine packaged as walkers in the Vienna Woods.
