Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the medium of the artpiece. It belongs to the digital art collection of Belvedere in Vienna, Austria. With courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5807 (public domain). Creditline of the artwork: purchase from the Dorotheum, Vienna in 1966. On top of that, alignment is portrait and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Eduard Ritter von Engerth was an artist, whose style can be classified as Romanticism. The Romanticist painter was born in the year 1818 in Pless / Pszczyna, Silesia, Poland and deceased at the age of 79 in 1897 in Semmering, Lower Austria.
