The over 140 year-old artpiece was made by the artist Alfred Stevens in 1879. The piece of art had the size: 64,8 × 47 cm (25 1/2 × 18 1/2 in) and was painted with the medium oil on panel. Today, this artpiece forms part of the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. We are pleased to mention that the masterpiece, which is in the public domain is being included with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Besides, the work of art has the following creditline: A. A. Munger Collection. Besides this, the alignment is portrait with a ratio of 1 : 1.4, which implies that the length is 29% shorter than the width. The painter Alfred Stevens was an artist, whose artistic style can mainly be attributed to Romanticism. The artist was born in 1823 in Brussels, Bruxelles region, Belgium and deceased at the age of 83 in 1906 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
