Background information on the over 150 year-old painting
The 19th century painting named In Front of Yorktown was painted by the male painter Winslow Homer. The 150 years old version of the work of art measures the size: 13 1/4 x 19 1/2 in (33,6 x 49,6 cm) framed: 21 x 27 1/2 x 3 1/2 in (53,3 x 69,9 x 8,9 cm) and was painted on the medium oil on canvas. It is in the the Yale University Art Gallery's digital collection, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere.
