The Night Café was painted by Vincent van Gogh. The over 130 year old original version measures the size: 72,4 x 92,1 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the Dutch painter as the medium of the masterpiece. Moveover, the work of art can be viewed in in the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with a side ratio of 4 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% longer than the width. Vincent van Gogh was a male painter, botanical illustrator, printmaker, drawer from the Netherlands, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Post-Impressionism. The Dutch painter was born in 1853 in Zundert, North Brabant, Netherlands and died at the age of 37 in 1890.
