The 19th century artwork "Sewing woman" was painted by the historicist painter Jozef Israëls in 1834. This artpiece is included in the Rijksmuseum's digital art collection in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Jozef Israëls was a painter from the Netherlands, whose art style was primarily Historicism. The artist was born in the year 1824 in Groningen,Netherlands and died at the age of 87 in the year 1911.
