This 19th century artpiece was created by the realist painter Jakob Alt. The original measures the exact dimensions: 39 x 31 cm - frame dimensions: 57 x 48 x 9 cm and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. Signed and dated lower right: J. Alt 1850 was the artwork's original inscription. Nowadays, the piece of art is in the the art collection of Belvedere in Vienna, Austria. Creditline of the artwork: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1921. The alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, which means that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter, lithographer Jakob Alt was a European artist from Germany, whose style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The painter lived for 83 years and was born in the year 1789 in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen state, Germany and passed away in the year 1872.
