Choose your preferred product material
In the product dropdown lists you can select the size and materialaccording to your individual preferences. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:
- Print on acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, often described as a UV print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite original work of art into décor. Your work of art is being made with modern UV print machines. This creates vivid, deep colors. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts and artwork details become more exposed because of the precise gradation. The plexiglass protects your selected fine art print against light and external influences for many decades.
- The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed cotton canvas with a slightly roughened surface finish. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6 cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- The canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital copy applied onto canvas. A printed canvas produces a nice and enjoyable impression. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suited for any kind of wall.
- Aluminium dibond: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding effect of depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. The Aluminium Dibond Print is the best introduction to art prints with aluminum. For our Aluminium Dibond option, we print your artpiece right onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. This direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is a truly sophisticated way to showcase art, because it draws attention on the replica of the artwork.
Important note: We try whatever we can to describe the art products as precisely as possible and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Nevertheless, the pigments of the print products, as well as the printing might diverge to a certain extent from the representation on your device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments can be printed 100% realistically. Because the art prints are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be slight deviations in the exact position and the size of the motif.
Additional description as provided from the museum (© - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)
This is one of several interior scenes in which Alexander showed people at work, surrounded by their equipment. The portrait d’apparat—an image in which a figure appears along with objects associated with his or her daily life—reflects Alexander’s training in the Munich academy of fine arts and showcases his skills both as a portraitist and as a still-life painter. His subject here is the chemist and assayer Thomas Price (1837–1912), and the setting is Price’s San Francisco laboratory. A consultant to international mining companies, Price was noted for his practical and theoretical knowledge of metals and mines.
