This 19th century piece of art was painted by the Austrian painter Heinrich von Angeli. The version of the work of art has the size: 128,5 x 80,5 cm and was painted with the techinque of oil on canvas. The original masterpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated top right: H v Angeli / 1886. Moveover, the work of art is in the the Belvedere's art collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. With courtesy of - © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5615 (licensed: public domain). The creditline of the artwork is: purchase from Isabella Mikulicz-Breyer, Vienna in 1963. The alignment is portrait with a ratio of 2 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% shorter than the width. The painter Heinrich von Angeli was an artist, whose style can be classified as Historicism. The European artist lived for 85 years and was born in 1840 in Sopron / Sopron, Hungary and deceased in 1925.
