Portrait of Gerard Pietersz Hulft first board and director general of the VOC. Oval portrait between a still life of books, papers, compass, compass, measuring instruments for shipping, inkstand, hourglass, drawing of a caterpillar and butterfly, globe, sword or dagger. Top two angels holding an anchor surmounted by a white dove.
