Hans Memling was a Netherlandish of Dutch nationality, whose art style can be classified as Northern Renaissance. The painter lived for a total of 64 years, born in the year 1430 in Seligenstadt, Hessen state, Germany and died in the year 1494 in Bruges, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium.
