During the later 19th century, when European artists were influencing American landscape painters, George Inness looked to France for stylistic inspiration. After a trip to Europe in 1853-54, during which he came into contact with contemporary French painters, Inness adopted a loose, painterly style. By the late 1870s, he was interested in conveying the intimate, mysterious aspects of nature.

The material choices
For every art print we offer a range of different materials & sizes. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:
- Canvas: The printed canvas, which should not be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital replica printed from a UV direct printer. A canvas creates a unique look of three dimensionality. What is more, canvas print makes a cosy and comfortable look. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without the help of any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a slightly roughened surface finish, that reminds the original work of art. A printed poster is particularly appropriate for placing your fine art print using a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the print motif to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Metal (aluminium dibond print): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with an outstanding effect of depth, which makes a modern impression thanks to a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the best introduction to fine art reproductions on aluminum. The bright parts of the artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss, however without any glow. The colors are luminous, details of the print are very clear.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The print on acrylic glass, often described as a print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original work of art into wall decoration and makes a distinct alternative option to dibond or canvas art prints. The artwork will be manufactured with the help of state-of-the-art UV direct printing machines.
