According to the book the story of the Odyssey IV, the potion of Queen Polydamne, after plants gathered in Egypt, banished from the heart of sadness and anger and brought forgetfulness of all ills.

Table Vouet was commissioned by the Paris-corporation Apothecary Grocers to decorate the fireplace in the great room of their house, street Crossbow. The overall decor, which still exists, was reassembled in the auditorium of the Faculty of Pharmacy Avenue of the Observatory.
