To the left of Notre Dame, the tower of the Archbishop's Palace and the Hotel Dieu.qui spans the Seine.
The bridge of wooden Tournelle is probably built in 1638, after the disappearance of a previous bridge, also of wood, carried away by the waves. The new bridge also disappeared, following another flood of the Seine in 1651. This allows us to date the table of the 1640s is no trace of a fire on the Ile Saint-Louis during this period.
