In the countryside, a woman surrounded by children stands next to a fountain. The woman, wearing a white cap, set foot on the edge of the fountain. Elbow on her thigh, she holds in her left hand a fruit. His other hand is on the head of a girl at his feet. Three boys around her, including one lying on his stomach, playing with a lizard they attract with branches. On the other side of the fountain, a woman asked her pitcher. Behind it opens a path to the village church. Two other characters are represented.
