Choose a product material option
For every art print we offer different materials & sizes. That is why, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- Aluminium dibond print: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. The bright and white parts of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glow. The colors are luminous, fine details are crisp.
- The glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, which is sometimes described as a UV print on plexiglass, will change an original artwork into wall décor and makes a good alternative to dibond or canvas art prints. The work of art will be printed with the help of modern UV print technology. Our acrylic glass protects your selected fine art print against light and external influences for many more years.
- Poster print (canvas material): The poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface finish. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- Canvas: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with an artwork painted on a canvas, is an image printed directly on canvas fabric. A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.

General description by Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris (© Copyright - by Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris - www.petitpalais.paris.fr)
The sketch is divided horizontally into three parts; the lower register, evoking the architecture of the chapel in which the decoration is intended, is not embellished. The Cross Carrying represents Christ kneeling fell fatigue under the weight of the Cross. Soldiers quickly executed in brown tones accented with white throng around imploring Virgin, dressed in a pink tunic. Above, the scene continues with the Crucifixion of Christ the position is three-quarters surrounded by the Virgin and St. John.
In December 1854 Léon Riesener is charged by the Department of the Seine to decorate the walls East and West of Compassion of the said chapel or of Sorrows (third span left) of the Saint-Eustache church in Paris. On each narrow wall, Riesener painted two biblical scenes one above the other, separated by a text: on the west wall, the Presentation in the Temple and a stopover on the flight into Egypt of the Holy Family, separated from the inscription: "Your soul will be pierced by a sword." On the east wall, the Carrying of the Cross and the Crucifixion, with the text: "The Lord is my share."
