In May 1750 several Parisian riots Louis XV decided to establish a new route, bypassing the capital, to visit Versailles in Saint-Denis and Compiegne. Extending the aisle royal the Bois de Boulogne, it is now, more or less, the delimitation of the boulevards Dixmude Yser, Gouvion St. Cyr, the Somme, of Reims, the Fort of -Vaux and Douaumont.
