At the same time, the colors of the printing material, as well as the printing may diverge to a certain extent from the presentation on the monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, not all colors will be printed as realistically as the digital version. Considering that all the are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be minor differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.

Shortly after the completion of the portrait of an elderly woman in 1909 began Gustav Klimt to paint a wrapped in a wide cloak mother with her two children. The clear differentiation dark homogeneous from light-modeled skin color and treatment of most of the rest surface of the painting proved to be groundbreaking for later image compositions by Egon Schiele. With respect to the dark color Klimt resorted to the primarily brown red by him in the last years of the 19th century in the portraits (about Sonja Knips) used image determining color glazes. The strict definition of color contours merging with the dark background mantle to the light, of yellow, blue and pink strokes composite faces illustrates an important principle of composition Klimt which u. a. comes in the nearly contemporaneous image of the golden Adele Bloch-Bauer (New York, New Gallery) apply. It's went Klimt at the icons accent the plastically acting skin that stand out either from the metal surfaces or the areally painted dresses and the image area parallel background. As we know the basis of infrared images of the masterpiece family, Klimt has initially sketched only the three faces on the pretreated with half oil base canvas and executed. Only in the next step, the remaining area has been treated with color glazes and it covered a part of the mother's face. The contrasting the background rectangular field behind the Mother points most likely a window, and be perceived on the left side furniture probably a cabinet with glass surfaces.
