Giraud made prom Opera the subject of two webs: "A Paris night (The output of the opera ball)", exposed to 1866 Salon (not shown) and "Bal Opera" exposed to Salon 1867 (No. 664). This chart shows us the front foyer of the room Le Peletier, like the famous Manet painting on the same subject, dated 1874 (National Gallery, Washington). The theater disappeared in a fire October 28, 1873.
The 19th century masterpiece was made by the artist Eugène Giraud in 1866. The 150 year old painting was painted with the size: Height: 172 cm, Width: 125 cm.
