Signed and dated lower left: Barbara Krafft nata Steiner pinxit: Anno 1803 was the artpiece's original inscription. Nowadays, the artpiece is part of the Belvedere's digital art collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Furthermore, alignment is in landscape format with a side ratio of 1.4 : 1, which means that the length is 40% longer than the width. The painter Barbara Krafft was a European artist, whose art style was mainly Classicism. The Austrian artist lived for 61 years, born in the year 1764 in Iglau / Jihlava, Bohemia and passed away in the year 1825 in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany.
