Allegory. In the center, the figure of the Republic sitting on a throne, his head crowned with laurel, the left arm up a torch and held in the right hand scales. His right foot is based on volume. At his side a Gallic rooster. To his right, allegory of Agriculture (rake, shovel, watering can, plow, sheaf of wheat, fruit basket, beehive, barrel, etc.). To his left, instruments of Arts and Sciences (pallet pick, club, ewer, bust, big, earth, gear machine, etc.). On the front of the pedestal on which sits the Republic symbols: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity (Phrygian cap, masonic triangle and entwined hands).
