Miniature portrait of Sultan Muhammad Adil Shah of Bijapur (1627-1656), in profile to the left against a sky blue background, in an oval with gold trim and a frame of floral scrolls on white; frame lines in black. The portrait is to verso supplemented with the description in Dutch, also the timber panel to which it was stuck to the back side is provided with a Dutch description.
