Sigmund Walter Hampel, 1903 - Interior - fine art print

The more than 110 year-old artpiece with the title Interior was made by the art nouveau master Sigmund Walter Hampel. The beyond 110 years old original measures the size: 60 x 80 cm - frame dimensions: 67 x 87 x 4 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the European painter as the medium of the artpiece. The artwork's inscription is: signed lower right: WALTER / Hampel. This work of art is part of the digital collection of Belvedere, which is located in Vienna, Austria. With courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 6290 (licensed - public domain). The creditline of the artpiece is the following: purchase from art dealer Konstantin Gratsos, Vienna in 1979. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% longer than the width. The painter Sigmund Walter Hampel was an artist from Austria, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Art Nouveau. The European artist lived for 82 years, born in 1867 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and deceased in the year 1949.

A smaller watercolor version (38.5 x 56 cm) with minimal deviation came in 1920 at the auction house Wawra under the title "The priest's Sunday Rock" for sale.
