This more than 360 years old work of art was painted by the male Dutch artist Joost Cornelisz Droochsloot in 1652. The over 360 year old original has the size: height: 44,5 cm width: 80 cm | height: 17,5 in width: 31,5 in and was made with the technique oil on panel. The artwork has the following inscription: signed and dated: Jc. DS. 1652. Today, this artpiece belongs to the art collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The classic art work of art, which belongs to the public domain is being included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. The creditline of the artwork is the following: David van der Kellen, Amsterdam; purchased, 1873; on long-term loan to the Centraal Museum, Utrecht, since 1925 (this loan proceeded via the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage, until 2013). On top of that, alignment is landscape with a ratio of 16 : 9, which implies that the length is 78% longer than the width.
