Background information on the more than 350 years old artpiece

The 350 year-old version of the artpiece measures the size height: 21,3 cm width: 16,5 cm | height: 8,4 in width: 6,5 in and was produced with the techinque of oil on copper on panel. "Signed and dated: F. van Mieris. fe. Ao 1666" is the artpiece's inscription. Furthermore, the piece of art forms part of the Mauritshuis's collection in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. This public domain artwork is included, courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague.
