Artwork specifications from Rijksmuseum website (© - by Rijksmuseum - Rijksmuseum)
Dirk Langendijk was a prolific draughtsman specializing in military scenes with numerous small figures. His style was appropriately pithy. Yet although several military encounters took place in the Netherlands during the Revolutionary period of 1789–1799, he based most of his depictions on his own imagination. It was at the Battle of the Pyramids in 1798 that Napoleon’s French army defeated the Egyptian Mamluks.

Choose your product material
We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a plexiglass print, will convert your favorite original into amazing wall decoration and forms a viable alternative to dibond or canvas prints. The work of art is custom-made with modern UV printing technology. The major benefit of an acrylic glass fine art copy is that contrasts plus smaller details become recognizeable thanks to the precise tonal gradation of the picture. Our real glass coating protects your selected fine art print against sunlight and external influences for between 40-60 years.
- Canvas: A printed canvas, which should not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital replica printed on a UV direct printer. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
- Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface structure. The white and bright sections of the artpiece shine with a silky gloss but without glare.
- Poster (canvas material): Our poster is a UV printed canvas paper with a slight structure on the surface, which reminds the original masterpiece. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the print to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
