Choose your art print material variant
For every fine art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an outstanding depth. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your excellent start to the sophisticated world of art prints produced with aluminum. For our Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your selected work of art onto the aluminium white-primed surface.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a an art print on plexiglass, makes your favorite original work of art into amazing décor and offers a great alternative to canvas and aluminidum dibond fine art replicas. The work of art is being manufactured with the help of state-of-the-art UV print technology.
- Poster print on canvas material: A poster is a UV printed flat canvas with a granular surface texture, that resembles the original version of the masterpiece. It is suited for putting your art copy with a custom-made frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- Canvas print: The printed canvas, which shall not be confused with a painting on a canvas, is a digital copy printed onto cotton canvas material. Besides, printed canvas generates a soft, warm atmosphere. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy to hang the Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.
Important legal note: We try to describe our art products with as many details as we can and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Nevertheless, the colors of the printing material, as well as the imprint may diverge somehwat from the presentation on your monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, color pigments may not be printed 100% realistically. Because the fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.
Original information about the artwork from The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© Copyright - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)
One of numerous copies of a lost original by Bouts, this diptych was produced perhaps fifty years after the master's death. The best version of the composition, now in the Art Institute, Chicago, can be dated on the basis of scientific evidence between 1480 and 1495, or shortly after Bouts's death. Well into the sixteenth century the workshop was active under the direction of Dieric's sons, and our panels may well have been painted by an assistant there.
